Managing the marine environment: An EDS Community Guide

This Guide has been written for people who want to know more about how to promote effective management of New Zealand’s marine environment. It provides information for those who would like to obtain better environmental outcomes for the marine area. It is also designed to assist people engaged in activities impacting on the marine area and in designing marine-related projects. The Guide focuses on what ‘good practice’ marine management might look like rather than what the minimum environmental requirements are under the relevant legislation.
