Webinar: Protecting the Sea – Rethinking Marine Protected Areas

This webinar outlined the findings of EDS’s recent report on Marine Protected Area (MPA) reform. It included an overview of MPAs, Treaty considerations, past MPA reform efforts and what we can learn from them, international approaches, areas where there is agreement and disagreement when it comes to MPA reform, and proposals for making progress in this area including through the development of a new Marine Protected Areas Act.
